Fred Gardner has opened a new consulting business, PROPS, focusing on development and capture of major nuclear and environmental projects and recruitment of key personnel.  Mr. Gardner is the Founder, Senior Vice President of Business Development and part owner of three companies, DeNuke Contracting Services, ReNuke Services, and DR&C. Mr. Gardner is also a practicing Certified Health Physicist.  Mr. Gardner will work from his Charlotte, NC office as a DeNuke employee, Senior Consultant, Board Member and Secretary.  John Coffman, CHP, Mr. Gardner’s partner since 2002, will continue as President, CEO and Chairman in Oak Ridge, TN.

When asked about the transition, Mr. Gardner responded, “John and I are pleased that after the last 10 years developing DeNuke, ReNuke and DR&C, we now have three stable, sustainable businesses with management teams that have a great reputation and a promising future. I’m looking forward to my future consulting work supporting the expansion of these small businesses. I also plan to spend more volunteer time developing our nuclear education scholarship fund, the Michael Krupinski Memorial Foundation (MKMF) and continuing to develop new, small businesses.”

DeNuke, incorporated by Mr. Gardner in 2002, has recorded revenues of over $25M in each of the last two years. DeNuke is a nuclear project support and staffing firm specializing in health physics, waste management and D&D.  DeNuke also owns a commercial nuclear services company, ReNuke Services, that provides nuclear maintenance, engineering and technical staff to major reactor OEMs and nuclear utilities.  DR&C, spun off from DeNuke in 2008, provides specialty staffing and proposal development services.
